2024-11-16

Hanggara Sudrajat, a NAWA Postdoctoral Fellow in our group and an Associate Professor at the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia, has been named to the 2024 Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List since its first edition released in 2020.

This recognition highlights the impact of his research in the field of physical chemistry. The World’s Top 2% Scientists list, curated by researchers from Stanford University, recognizes the most influential researchers across a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines. Using data from Elsevier’s Scopus database, this ranking identifies scholars with significant research impact based on a range of metrics, including the h‑index, citation counts, and co-authorship. Scientists are categorized into 22 major fields and 176 subfields, with only those ranking in the top 2% of their respective subfields making the final list. Updated annually, this ranking provides a comprehensive view of both recent and long-term contributions to global research.

Hanggara Sudrajat is a chemical engineer by training, with a background as an R&D researcher in a multinational chemical company before joining academia. His research primarily focuses on the physical chemistry and chemical physics of light-driven catalysis. He regularly publishes in top-tier journals, including those from the ACS and RSC families. He has an h‑index of 25 (Google Scholar) and 24 (Scopus).

We wish him great success in his future research endeavors!
